Proposed fee increase | 21st March |
|||
It is our intention at the AGM to propose a fee increase from £25 to £30 - the first in seven years.
This will also entitle members to free entry to all competitions. This proposal needs to be voted in, however we would encourage you to turn up on Friday at 7:30, so that we can collect payments before the meeting starts. In the unlikely event that the proposal is rejected, we'll happily refund the difference.
Captain's Telephone Number - Clarification | 19th March |
|||
A couple of people have raised this, so let me clarify-
The reason we ask for the captain's number at registration is so that the Secretary can get in touch if needed. Often ringing the pub is fruitless.
The ONLY time the number is published is if the venue has no telephone number - eg Faringdon Cricket Club & Nortoners - and then only with the captain's express permission.
Similarly, if I bulk email, I'll use the Bcc field to ensure privacy. (apart from one last week which missed and for which I unreservedly apologise!)
Hope that re-assures you and if you did enter a dummy number, perhaps you'd email with the real one.
